Elite Warranty:Dealership required for maintenance?

Looking at Infiniti Elite Protection Warranty....

Is it required I take my car in to dealership for 60k maintenance ? Or can i let local shops take car of that and only bring to dealer for Warranty stuff?

ex: Dealer wants $605 for 60k service

thanks

A local shop can do the maintenance service.

You only need to be able to prove that the car has had its scheduled maintenance. If you take it to a dealer for maintenance, when you need warranty service any dealer will be able to check the database to determine maintenance was done.

If you have maintenance done by a local shop, you will need to bring in your service records to demonstrate to the dealer providing the warranty service that regular maintenance was performed.
