I'm not 100% on this but I would think the button is a must have on any shift **** you were to get. How else would you be able to get into different gears (drive, park, reverse, etc...)?
U don't need a button.. U just need to be able to push down on the top of the shifter shaft..

Kchar92, you asked a question and got several quality answers. Did you need to see www.g35driver.com? If you don't like what we posted try...

Xsxexcx is a vendor on here... OP sees it as some kind of cruel joke. Not joking OP.

His name is Sean chance. I'll let you figure out the rest.

Been lurking for a while and just signed up.

Go for a GTR shift ****. Minor modifications required.

I borrowed my buddy's GTR **** to test fit it. Only thing needed seems to be to drill out the hole inside the **** so the G35's plastic pin can contact the button and maybe cut the pin down a bit.

Other then that, the retaining clip works and the shifter height drops by what looks like an inch or more.

The GT-R **** is nice but it looks too much like OE with the button on top. By removing 1/2" of the actuator, Sean's KJ Burnt Titanium **** sits low and looks way cool! Add a Nifty Shifty boot and no one will ever know you have an AT, but that wasn't my intention.

is it possible to put it on my car if the shift **** has a button?
