Funny that you mentioned that. I totalled my Integra, thus the G35
I hear poop is good luck, so I should be winning the lottery tomorrow!

Ha! I just hit a bird on the 5 freeway the other day in my Corrado. Sucker was flying across the freeway at about two feet off the ground and smacked right into the thing. Don't know if it survived or not but it left a detailed dust print on my hood, feathers and all! It was pretty funny come to think of it.

to avoid futher poopage, avoid parking under wires, near trees and other areas where birds chill.

i hear the poop is acidic and bad for paint so get it off asap

If you're parked, I'd suggest a car cover. I use mine all the time when I'm at work - only exception is when it rains or when the G is really dirty.

just dont let it sit for long, that $hit, no pun intended, is acidic. it will eat right thru your paint, literally...

6MTgirl...

Several suggestions.

First it sounds like your choice of parking places needs to be improved upon. No one can have that much $hitty luck (pun intended).

Next, I'd recommend a good wax job to help protect the paint. Personally I chose polish, Zaino to be exact. You might want to consider carrying around a 100% cotton cloth (or towel) in a small tupperware container and some detailing spray in the trunk of your G. Whenever this happens in the future, simply take out the cloth and spray, clean up the mess and then put the towel back into the tupperware container. When you get home rinse out the towel and replace it with a fresh one.

Also, since you live in Tampa, you might want to check out the Florida G35 Club Forum here on driver. We'd love to have you attend the "All Florida Meet" on March 5th at Lokey Infiniti in Clearwater. There will be ~50 G's there and you're more than welcome to join us.
