Idle issues
Idle issues
Hey all
I have a 04' g35 that im having some idling issues on
I have already gone about replacing the Mass Air Flow sensor which solved the problem for about a week, but then i started having issues with it dying, it would drive just fine but once i came to a stop the car would die.
I looked at my intake and found that i had some rips in the rubber housing so i replaced that and put in an Injen Short Ram intake yesterday hoping that it would solve the problem but it didnt.
It definitly isnt dying as often or having as many issues staying at idle but when i rev it up a couple of times then it still dies
If anyone knows what the issue might be im open to try anything

Pull the mass air flow sensor out and look inside of it where the hot wire is. Something as small as a hair can cause this issue. Use a flashlight so that everything is visible and if there is anything in there you may be able to blow it out with compressed air.
i replaced the MAF just a couple days ago so i would hope that it wouldnt be the problem but i will definetly try that
