UPDATED:
Nevermind, I hooked jumper cables to a spare battery then to the cables on the G. Disconnected the old battery, installed new battery, removed jumper cables and all the settings were retained
I took my G to the body shop Monday to erase the wife's damage to the r/front fender. THe car sat most of the winter and I had to jump start the car. The body shop called and said the battery is toast and that they would replace it withe a like battery (new). My question is, is there a procedure for replacing the battery? Will it loose all of the ECM settings or will it even start up without doing some of the learn proceedures?
