windshield wipers not working !!!!

hey guys i have a problem with my windshield wipers. They turn on but i cant control the speed and they stop whenever they want and most of the time they stop where ever it wants to on the windshield. Anyway i tried changing the motor and that didnt do anything and i also went to the dealer and they couldnt help me stating that they've never had that problem and that id have to have a tech check it lol. anyway i was wondering if there was another switch or something id have to change? any help would be great!!!!

So when you went to the dealer, did you not have a tech check it? Or a tech checked it and couldn't figure it out?

Does the following statement sound like the symptoms you see?

"After Front Wiper Operate for 10 Seconds They Stop for 20 Seconds, and After Repeating the Operations Five Times They Become Inoperative"

If so, since you've already replaced the wiper motor, another possible cause is the IPDM E/R going bad.

Other causes of the wipers not working are bad BCM, and bad wiper switch. You can try to troubleshoot yourself using the FSM, or go ahead and let the dealership do it.

Sounds like a Wiper Switch from the Steering Wheel Cluster. I would not recommend replacing any BCM or IPDM's unless it is diagnosed as a failure.
