It's really up to you to determine what you would want. Boost is addicting and you will constantly want to turn it up. If you don't build the motor during the initial assembly of the SC or turbo you are just asking to spend more money.

To do it right is to so it once.

I'm not trying to be a jerk, but there is no budget kit for a turbo... What are you looking to spend?

ive read few posts online about installing stage 1 sc on stock internals (stillen or vortech) @ very low boost, but wasnt too coherent. i just wanted to straighten up things and make it clearer

Okay... What specifically did you want cleared up... I have a custom built single turbo kit... I have a FULLY BUILT short block... After running the kit for about a year no issues, I decided to redo my interior and a few other things... While the car was on the lift I noticed my clutch line was about to break as it (though metal) was on the exhaust.... OOPS... Didnt see that when I was installing it... my idler pulley is rubbing a belt tube now because its retaing bracket got bent... And I ahve a leak in the tube going into my turbo... There is always something you just have to be ready for it... These things alone will probably set me back a few hundred... Luckily it was all ready going to the shop to get a new tune so yea...
