Who installs superchargers?
I have a 2004 g35 coupe 6mt with 35k miles. I want to take it to someone to have a supercharger or single turbo setup installed. Sounds pretty easy right? Here is the kicker I live in Parkersburg WV and in this town g35s are not a common car. So my real question is do any of my fellow G owners know anywhere nearby that can do this kind of work. Ps I'm not mechanically inclined enough to do it myself so that is out.

What's your budget?
How much power are you looking to make?
What supporting mods do you already have and/or plan for?
Do you have another car you can drive for the weeks and/or months your car will be in the shop?

You sound like me back in the day... and this isn't as much an insult as much as an acknowledgement that like me you have no idea what's involved.
I did hours and hours (and hours and hours) of research in here, talking to people who knew and STILL only got the memo when I was about 40k into my nightmare. And yes, before everyone jumps in and says that isn't what they cost- mine was a bit of a unique situation... but I didn't go into the transaction thinking that unworldly amount of bad luck and some karma was going to kick in... Many people don't factor that in.
Fact is, it CAN go that way really fast... blow one motor and have someone else do all the work for you... it gets expensive real quick.
If I can talk you out of it, I think you should send me a percentage of the 10k I save you from your own nightmare.
Do you have any idea what you're getting into here? Seems from the way you're phrasing the question you don't. "Sounds pretty easy right?" and "I want to go forced induction" are not compatible statements.

AnywaysI am going to go with either a vortech supercharger with intercooler or a momentum (or whatever brand I can get ahold of) single turbo. My goal since this will be a daily driver is to be in the 400 whp range (I have the meth injection kit off my Subaru and access to E85 if I need it to help get a little more boost) as that is when parts seem to start breaking in these cars. Support mods I have on the car are basic breather mods Ztube, popcharger, iso thermal 5/16 spacer but I will probably change to a Kinetix intake manifold (they seem to have decent results on F/I cars over N/A ones). Exhaust is factory cats running to a magnaflow H pipe and then dual straight pipes the rest of the way back. I have also ordered an aluminum driveshaft, 3.73 final drive gear (I would like 4.08 but I would be to busy shifting to hit any real boost) with quaffle and nismo differential cover.
I have a budget of around 10k but have another 5k stashed away to be safe. If I go supercharged there is a company that vortech has recommended that is 172 miles from me they said they can have it on and dyno tuned in 3 days and if I got turbo I will have dynosty do it in Louisville Kentucky. Lastly I am a car salesman at a Kia dealership so I have access to a vehicle in the event something comes up.......I just wanted to see if anyone could recommend somewhere closer or vouch for a specific company but I hope that clears things up a little. Thanks!
The part about running E85 seems obvious to me. Crazy amounts more of torque, which is what matters!!! If your running a belt drive supercharger it can't be that hard to install, but if it is a roots style you probably want to have a shop do it.
Actually i'm not new to this my previous car was a stage 3 2011 WRX. My friend and I did the work and he was the brains to the build but he has since moved away. Also its easier to upgrade to a bigger turbo and slap on a font mount intercooler than it is to install an entire supercharger kit by myself with very limited knowledge as to what parts go where.

I'd be taking a VERY hard look at the BP kit if I were you- that is, at least if you veer away from the SC.
Thanks I wasn't familiar with that kit but it does look like it would be a great setup for what I am trying to do.
