That's true....back when I lived in IL my first new car was a '93 240SX SE. So I had a plate that read SXSE 240. A lot of people thought it meant "sexy".

Over here, vanity plates were approved about 3 years ago, but people seldom buy them. The regulations state that you cant spell anything offensive, but the state's system does not eliminate offensive combinations from their 3 letters-3numbers database. Examples:
