getting my power steering rack changed

Hello so I just got my g35 coupe . It has only 74000 miles and already leaking power steering fluid .took it to mechanic and he said the rack is bad .car is already at the shop I just want to know what other complications I can run into after fixing this ? Any check engine light or suspension problems since he will be opening it and I don't trust any mechanics here In Houston . I am getting 500 charged for the whole job .

$500 is not much, mind you your mechanic probably has a lift which makes his life a whole lot easier.

well i got it fixed . and yes it costed me only 500 NO MORE LEAK . than i also went for alignment and after the alignment they recommended to change my right front and rear camber . so just a day after the alignment now i am noticing a noise from the frond end i believe and it starts right on 60 mph . i am guessing it is a camber problem i have to take it to mechanic to be sure , also i feel allot of bumps . even small ones like the ride is not comfortable. what could that be ? houston is full of road bumps btw if i wanna switch to coilovers . which one you guys recommend? houston roads are bad i want a lil drop and a good comfortable ride ! .
