Airbag Module

My 06 G35 coupe got in a minor fender bender. Only had to replace the front bumper cover but the impact set off the passenger airbag.

I know that I have to replace the deployed airbag, front seat belts, crash zone sensor and the airbag module.

The infiniti FSM calls the airbag module a "Diagnosis Sensor Unit". My question is will a airbag module from a 2007 work in my 2006? Or will any other year module work in a 2006?
If not how can I have my module reset?

The diagnosis sensor is underneath the center console and it is kind of like the ecm of the air bag system. All air bag codes are stored in this unit. It is directly up under the rear of the center console. If you are talking about the passenger airbag in the dash, it is referred to as an Assist airbag module. The dash will need to be replaced as well. Hope this helps brother.
