Window down with switch, but not with door

Recently got my 06 coupe back from the paint shop for the third time and it appears they may have bumped something on the driver's window. The window goes up and down with the interior door switch, both holding and auto. When you close the door, it'll move the window up the final quarter inch or so as it should.

BUT, it doesn't grab it to pull it down when opening the door . You can however lightly push it down that little bit and the door opens and closes just barely (I can hear the glass hit when closing).

Any ideas where to start looking? I have done the coupe window reset procedure and no joy.

Bad switch which is on the body of the car, maybe.

The body switch appears to work. I hear it activate and it works to push the window up, it just seems that for some reason it's not grabbing the window at that point
