3rd brake light trouble!

Hi guys new to forum so sorry if this is a copy of an existing issue and I will deal with the forum warrior comments for being a noobynoobscrub scrubbington. But I digress, I have a 2003 g35 coupe w/Brembos that is my sisters but ill be driving for a while, and her third brake light is out.Dunno if this relates to issue but this punk took advantage of her (which is common and deplorable practice to do to females when cars are concerned merely because they dont know as much) (seriously what a dick)and said "Ill fix your car if I can have your spoiler" she agreed and this loser hacked the spoiler off the deck lid like a savage.Like I said I dont know if it relates but the brake light in the window has 0 response. Any suggestions gentleman?
Also will post pictures tomorrow of this hack job

If she had the spoiler then odds are the rear deck one was unplugged. Make sure the connection is made under the third brake light.

You were right the one in the window wasn't even connected because of the spoiler. And since its an 03 that led was sitting for so long it took some fiddling but she's working. Thanks man! Here's some of those pics just for kicks to show what that douche nozzle did

That's pretty sad that he would do such things to a car. Time for the 05-07 spoiler :). Nice to hear the brake light wasn't easy fix.

Youd figure the least he would do is eraser wheel the adhesive off and put the circcular clear sticky tabs on the holes(kinda what ford puts on the mustangs with the mock hood scoops)not electrical tape:D.But oh well replacing the deck lid is next on my list of things to do.Urban, thanks again mate!
