A Shout Out to everyone here!!
Hi,
I have a been a G35 owner for about 18 months, have use the site a lot more information about my car. I would Like to think everybody on the site for the numerous amounts of help posted throughout the threads.
I have a 2006 G35 coupe with 50k on it. It's got every package but the tech package. But he I am writing here to like I said right to things everybody. In the next couple weeks I should have done all the preventive maintenance I could do to my car.
I am flushing almost all the fluids completely out. Using royal purple ATF, Royal purple diff oil 75-90, Nissan blue anti-freeze, Royal purple power steering fluid, The Royal purple water wetter, and doing another oil change with Royal purple syn oil, and K&N oil filter. I'm also adding Wilwood 570 brake fluid, i'm going to have my mechanic also install some stop tech stainless steel brake lines. And finally I just changed my spark plugs today myself with NGK Double Platinums.
I figure hey 50,000 miles my not be a lot but Close to nine years of the fluids being in there needs to be replaced. I'm pretty sure I'm just the second owner and I bought the car at 36,000 miles. At that point my little fluids may have need to be replaced by then. And since none of the fluids to my knowledge up and changed assist nice to replace it on a piece of mind that I'm doing everything I can to protect my car.
All and all I could've went with some of the cheap stuff for the fluids. But I did my shopping around I got the cheapest prices on all the products.
Nissan coolant was $28/gal x 3
RP water wetter was $9.99 for whole system,
RP ATF was $10/qt x 11,
RP Diff oil was $15/qt x 2,
RP Power steering was $5/12oz x 2,
K&N oil filter was $6/ea
RP engine oil was $38/5qts
Stop Tech lines were $60 front/back each,
Wilwood 570 was $47/72oz
NGK Double platinum was $50/6 plugs
It's a bit much for everything, could've gone with you know just some regular brake fluid or diff Oil,l and stuff and save a few bucks here and there but I have never heard bad things about royal purple. And it's not exactly hyperexpensive for what I paid for it.
I just put on Hankook Ventus RS-3 version 1 all around for summer, Continental DWS for winter on 17's, got a 2nd set of rims for winter. Running premium 19's rays for summer. My climate control died about 5-6 months ago, as per information on this site did a double din. went to a couple car stereo stores, picked up a Sony touchscreen.
Doing a bit of searching around on this website, also had a viper remote start car alarm installed, with tilt sensor, glass break sensor added. I also recently added locking lug nuts to my tires, and the club. And just the other day did a RP fuel system cleaner through the gas tank.
One of my next project was to put on a stillen supercharger. I love the sound want more power, The general consensus from this website seems to be not so much extra power. That the Vortech seems to be the way to go for more power, Or a TwinTurbo. But I love the sound of that like stage III or stage for stillen supercharger. But after looking up the video on YouTube of some exhaust sounds, i think I found my next project.
Motordyne shockwave dual, MD ART Pipes, MD XYZ cat accessory, MD 4.5" rolled tips, probably copy his build with osiris tune, and a 5/16" plenum spacer. Keeping stock sound but bit more aggressive, and louder.
But again thanks to everyone for all the information floating around here. Great site.

Hey let me know how this all works out for you, I'm thinking about doing the same to my coupe. Most notably the transmission fluid since I have a lightweight flywheel installed that chatters horribly and makes a pretty nasty sound sub 2000 RPMs while under load. I hear that replacing the transmission fluid or using a different viscosity can help damper some of that noise.
