lol. Thanks for the people that gave honest responses. That's a lot of ****. But things like bushings and what not are expected. Gives me something to think about. Thanks again.

To add,

--Headlight covers are easy to scratch and haze up. i find this deathly annoying..
--interior trim rubs alot. you will spend a lot of time hunting down squeaks and oiling them if that bothers you like it does me.
--expensive to mod. the NA motor is nice but to get solid power bumps your going into the motor and replacing all the exhaust. unless your doing your own work that's spendy stuff for not alot of gains.
--if your planning on going FI, well i'd get another car. FI on the vqde in the G's takes a lot of work and cash due to the tight constraints under hood.
--gas mileage ... well not so great. I love my g35, but before my mods 24mpg avg at 72mpg did not delight me much.
--weight reduction is harsh.. spare tire and gear go easy enough and so do the 40 pounds of floor mats but after that weight loss is a tough deal.

BUT! as a plus:
if you get a hhr or vhhr stick, get the mrev2 intake, 5/16 intake (if your sticking to NA), and maybe the headers and have it retuned for about 30+hp (minimum when done right) gains at peak. just expect your wallet to hate you at the pump.

About the headlight covers: at least they are not Mercedes lenses. Seeing those ghostly orbs coming at me always gives me the chills.

I got sideswiped while parked and had to have paint work done. I had them repolish the lenses and then spray them with clear coat since they had all that mess going on anyway and let me tell you it is great. They won't fade ever now, and they have an extremely lovely brilliant shine to them now.

Besides that sickening window motor and bose cd player holding my cds hostage, i havent had any issues.

Wait, the feathering of the front tires in 6 months after purchasing new tires, that roar at low speeds and braking will drive you nuts.
