So I have the momo shifter put in right now and need to put the OEM shifter back on before I sell the car but I can't find the little metal clip or the white plastic sleeve that slides onto the gear lever.

Anyone know where I can buy it? If someone does, I will give them my silver momo shift **** for FREE!!! Just pay for shipping.

You are looking for part #3 and the white rod on top of the shift lever correct?

The metal clip is part of the shift ****. It's not available separately. Only way to get one is to hit the local junkyard up for Nissans and see if any of the early 2000's Nissans or Infiniti's have similar clip on the ****. Or you can check ebay and buy the rattiest shift **** they have for the clip. Not sure if the clip for the 05-06 **** is the same.

The white plastic shifter plunger is specific to 03-04 G's and some early FX35 models. You can't use the blue 05-06 plunger IIRC. I'd check the dealership to see if they have this, otherwise you'd have to try and get one used off someone

 

@scott: I called the dealership they wanted $25 for the metal clip and get this...$285 for the white plastic piece!!!!

@Mustang: Thanks for the info, that sucks that I cant buy the pieces like that, would buying a shift **** have all 3 pieces?? Shift ****, metal clip and plastic tube?

Since I am getting a whole shift ****, can I put a 05-06 **** on the 03?

 

What a rip for the clip. It's a $1 part...if that.

You can put the newer **** in. Requires a little bit of modification
