Black coupes?

Hey everyone. I was just wondering... I don't hear much about black coupes on this forum. How many people have one? Mine is coming in this month.

Re: Black coupes?

You don't hear much about black coupes because we are either out washing them, or picking up chicks (or peckers if your a girl or gay...Dont want to leave anyone out). LOL

LMAO! word.. Black is beautiful. I love my black coupe, but it's gotta stay clean to pick up the chicks - *note to black coupe owners* - wash the sob if it looks dirty.

Re: Black coupes?

HAHAHAHHAHHAHAAAA ...

yep...

the paint is a really good quality though.... Its very deep black ..not a cheap looking fade in one wash type lookin black.

I drove it in the pouring rain the other day ... got home ..left it in the driveway and it rained on it more still

the next morning I came out and the car looked almost fully clean.... I know thats the wax etc... but I was impressed.... I am not used to seeing that.

Black is wicked......

Re: Black coupes?

I got black as well. Lovin' it. Best colour for the G in my opinion. Yes cleaning is a bitch, yes you gotta work a bit more to keep her looking her best...but damn it's worth it! My first car was black, and then I went through 2 silvers. Silver is just too common now...I'm very happy with my choice, and it's a bonus that not too many people are into black cars right now. Every other G or 350 I see on the roads is either BS or DG. Black is where it's at baby!

Re: Black coupes?

I also have a black G35 sport coupe, which I just got a couple of weeks ago... Living in Cali is cool cause it hardly rains from May till November, so keeping the black car nice and looking new isn't really too hard (especially since it is garaged)....

I bought these Turtle Wax washing wipes which work really well... A 10 pack of wipes goes for about $4, and I use about 3 of them per time that I clean my car. I also got a microfiber towel to wipe away the excess cleaning agent in the wipe, so my baby sparkles. This is good if your car isn't really dirty, but you just want it to shine, and it is safe for the paint since it is microfiber.

Re: Black coupes?

Yeah I carry a 100% cotton towel (anything less and it may scratch paint) and a bottle of ZFX everywhere I go for my black coupe. Damn these things look _dead sexy_ when they're clean.

Re: Black coupes?

Hey Dally,

What special modifications do you have to your coupe??? I can see from the pic that you have custom rims on it, but it also looks like you got it lowered.... What did you do??

Re: Black coupes?

geesus... now I feel like a wally.

Thats a g off of cardomain...the only difference on it, is I lowered it in photodraw.

GAWD that was hard to type .. must be harder to read.

I have a blk/blk 6 speed too.. but mines stock (for now)

Those are 5 Zigen hyper 5 ZRs...about 1000 bucks CAD for 19s ... pricey

but like I said the only thing I did was lower it ... tint the glass tint the front side marker .... other than that, thats how it WILL LOOK

I feel dirty now.... hhahhahahahahaaa

later fellas ... and sorry for the letdown bro's

Re: Black coupes?

Hey Bigel,

What type of rims are those??? They look awesome... Are they 18's? Did you go wider on the wheel width from the stock 8" wide on front and back???

I am going to get SSR GT-3's, but I am not sure about the wheel width that I should use. I want to keep the 18" diameter, but I am not sure if I want to stick with 8" wide wheels for both the front and back. Thinking of 9" wide in the back and 8" in the front.

Anyone got suggestions? I want to make my black coupe sick!
