Hi. Myself and some other members of my350z.com are organizing a New England Event for 350Z and G35 owners. It will take place on 7/12, and is will be located in Connecticut, but is open to anybody who wishes to attend. The schedule currently includes a morning meet up, likely somewhere around Waterbury, just to meet people and see cars. We will then proceed to drive to Lime Rock. The drive is about an hour and will take place on back roads. Along the way, we may stop for photos. Upon arrival at Lime Rock, you can have lunch at the raceway facilities. Saturday is also the first day of the annual "Ferrari Weekend" at Lime Rock. There will be dozens of Ferrari's of all vintages available for close up inspection and viewing as they race. The morning activities, which will include a raffle and awards, is of course free. Admission to Lime Rock is $20.

Final details are still the planning stages, but this much is pretty much fixed. A detailed flyer will be posted when available, and I will update this thread as needed. For further immediate information, either log on to my350z.com and check under the "Northeast" Regional Forum, or reply to this thread.

The planners anticipate this will be a fairly large meet, on the order of 2-3 dozen Z's, possibly more. I sincerely hope the G35 gets equal representation.

This sounds great!!, I really want to go to a meet, but for this area , they always seem to meet in NY, or NJ. Let me know when all the details are ironed out.

I live in Shelton Connecticut, and I will show up to represent the G35 crowd!!

 

The details of this meet have been finalized. We will be gathering at Hubbard Park in Meriden for a little meet and greet and will then caravan to Lime Rock. Exact specifics and directions will be forthcoming.

I am from New Haven also. I am getting my G35 coupe tomorrow (BS 6MT). I have seen a few silver Z's out there. I bet I have seen you driving around. Keep me posted on the meet.

 

If it's in New Haven, there's a good chance it's me. I work there and live nearby, so I'm going up and down Chapel, George, State, Church etc. all the time.

Interest in this meet is growing. We are now up to about 39 Z's and 7 G's. There will be special parking at Lime Rock so nobody will have to worry about car security. I have personally purchased over $100 of raffle prizes, mostly key chains, hats, shirts, that kind of stuff. Unfortunately, it is mostly Z related. If enough G people come, and I think we have plenty so far, I'll get some G stuff also. Is there anything or anywhere in particular you guys would be interested in?

Wow, I didn't even notice this thread. This is awesome. Right now we are at 38 Z's and 9 G35's (I believe all are coupes although sedans are welcome as well).

Can't wait to meet everybody.

There are two members in the G35 count that are hoping to have their Coupe's by the 12th and 1 350Z member with their car on order.

There will be tons of prizes and interesting mods. (including bodykits, performance, stereo and wheel upgrades).

Hope more of you can make it. There are caravans coming from NY (including people from NJ) and MA. Let me know if anyone is interested in joining any of these caravans and I will get you all the details.

Caravans coming to the meet:

NY Caravan (Wayne with a Chrome Silver 350Z with a rear spoiler is leading the caravan)
Will meet at Fort Totten in Queens at 7:15AM
Will depart Fort Totten at 7:45AM
Will stop at Exit 22 on Route 95 North in CT to meet up with other members
Will leave Exit 22 around 8:30 AM
Right now there are 6 350Z's and 2 G35's (OLDG and otakg35) on the list plus a few other cars coming for the show.
At Exit 22 there will be at least two 350Z's there and maybe more if some of the NJ members coming up stop there also. I expect this list to also grow some by the 12th.

MA Caravan (Roger with a black 350Z and 20" wheels will be leading this caravan)
Will meet at 7:00AM at the Framingham Rest Area on the MA Pike Westbound side
Will leave between 7:15 and 7:30 AM
There are approx. 10 350Z's coming down in this caravan.

Let me know if you want to join any of these caravans.

Right now our total count for the meet is 52 350Z's and 11 G35 Coupes.
