power seats don't work right

I have an 06 rev up and the seats randomly stopped working the other day. The problem is the passenger side wont slide back and forth but the part where your back goes moves back and forth. I've checked the fuses and their perfectly fine. I'm just stuck how they both stopped at the same time but the passenger side partially works? Anybody have any comments??

Same thing happened to me man, spray wd-40 over the controls of the seat. Flood it. Then get a can of compressed air. Worked for me

Spray the controls under the seat or the ones on the side?

Check the wiring. Pull out the plug and put it back in.

Omg, don't spray wd-40. Jesus Christ.

There is most likely something lodged in the control. Take the controls apart and try to clean them. If you eat/drink, have pets that travel in the car, participate in dirty activities, etc. its most likely "droppings" from your lifestyle. Yes, spraying enough wd-40 (or any anti liquid/anti corrosive oil and/or lubricant) may get the debris out of the way enough to get the connections working again, but that's not the proper way to take care of it.

Why would they go out at the same time though? Does it sound motor related?

you first need to diagnose the problem. Can you hear the motors working when you press the switches?

I'm still saying something is in the way of the controls.. Clean them 100%.
