Bubbling Paint

Hi guys sorry if this has been talked about before but.... I have yet to find a thread about this... In October I bought my first G35 coupe its an 03 black in color. When I bought it.. i noticed some paint bubbles the guy at the dealership would no repair it.. so I was wondering since it is a small spot how much am i looking at to repair it from a pro as i am the one guy you do not want painting a model car let alone a real car hhahahaha. I have a picture of the spot. and if the thread needs to be moved just let me know or point me in the right direction. Thank you for the advice.

250? Man I could get a factory painted bumper cover for 150$ here. Maybe 200$ I just want to fix that one spot so I can clay bar the car and get my mirror shine going

Bubbles in the paint can be an easy fix depending on the cause. Moisture or poor prep might require taking the paint down to metal but still shouldn't cost much more than a buck fifty...Gary

Clear coat failure. You'll need to repaint the fender.

Was afraid of that. I talked to a body shop today they said they have to sand down the entire fender to find out what's causing it bubble like that. Any idea what the cost would be to repaint the fender? To be done right

Thanks for the input. I did see your post until late. But yeah 150$ not too bad for a fender. I just want my baby to shine again. I am not the original owner of the car I'm the third to have it. Last guy took ok care of it just made a bad choice in paint I suppose.

You have to blend the door/hood also to really make it look right on top of sanding the fender. bumpers don't need to be blended. You can get quotes for free from any body shop for a repair like that.

That's what I'm going to do. Just saddens me to know the exterior has a small flaw
