just get decent performance summer tires.., it'll help with traction (not in the winter, of course.)

I've read a lot of threads where people are still seeing slip even with VDC off. I found a paragraph from the FSM that states even with VDC off the ALBS will still kick in. Sounds like VDC off just allows for more tire slip. I haven't pushed my car enough to find out, yet... lol.

Eventually your drift craziness will leave on the slip and VDC lights on the dash after a few minutes. It's effectively disabling the YAW sensor yes?

OP, if you continue to retort you're only digging yourself deeper. The members on this forum can be very persistent. There is a way to disable the yaw sensor but I would not recommend that at your age. Being a good/safe driver only comes with experience.
thanks, at least someone respectfully gave me an answer without making jokes. respect to you sir

OP, I'm not sure that you will ever be able to do anything that will enable you to floor it from a dead stop without feeling like your brakes lock up and you lose most of your engine power.

The accelerator on the G is very sensitive, and that cutoff you feel is actually a safety feature (even though it may not feel like it)

If you find yourself on a track or in a situation where you need to merge on an on ramp or into traffic, the best way to launch a 5at is to give it about 1/8 throttle or so for a brief moment before giving it more/full throttle.

Go to a track or closed road to try it out until you find the correct way to best launch your G. If you want a car that you can floor it without losing power, you're going to need to go old school v8 to achieve your goal. I grew up driving rwd v8's without ABS, VDC etc. although it was a lot of fun, having the a$$ end of your car pass the front end of your car can scare the hell out of you in a hurry.

LOL G2B likes this description.

A surprisingly great thing for me as a kid was having a tubular steel frame go-cart with 4" slicks and a big ol' Kohler engine. We would take it out in the church parking lot in the rain and get all speckledy putting it into spins and such. Having developed that natural instinct totally bailed me out the first time I lost the footprint in a grown-up machine on a damp road with bias-ply tires. Did a 360 coming out of a curve in a 1971 Toyota Corona Mark II and set it straight in my lane and just kept on going like it happened every day la-de-da .

Then I started hyperventilating.

Better than when you're making a left turn and step on the gas a bit too much by mistake. VDC cuts power and you're stuck in the middle of the road with cars coming at you 80km/h haha

EDIT: I don't rush my turns! I leave ample room for error

this thread was very entertaining. i shouldve chimed in earlier.

OP, like everyone else said you shouldve searched before asking. All these "issues" youre having have already been addressed, troubleshooted, found a solution for and posted in usefull threads on here. As for going on to another forum, it is total BS that you will NOT get flamed for asking a question that has been asked and answered on the forum again and again and again.

Everyone in here is helpful. Best thing to do is read and read and read then do some more reading before posting. All the questions i had when first buying my G were on here and i found answers, write ups, DIYs, recommendations etc for.

As for insulting people, dont do it. Makes you sound stupid, ignorant, uneducated and people wont take you seriously. Just because you went back and changed ALL your smartass comments doesnt mean that everyone is magically going to stop flaming you.
