Question for those you that have deadened doors with MLV

So I am in the process of sound deadening. Already got cld tiles on the outer skin of the door as well as the extruded butyl rope between the skin and the impact beam. I have already cut the mlv to the shape of the door card and am in the process of mounting it and cutting the holes but am wondering how many things I need to bring through the mlv.

Can I leave the main harness on the side of the door or should i bring it through to the door panel side. I do not mean just the harness that attaches to the door switch controls but like the entire thing. I am just not sure if the panel will fit back correctly if i leave the harnesses behind the mlv. I know I will be cutting holes for where it screws in but what about like for the large styrofoam piece, can the panel still be put back on with the mlv in between the layers?

anyone deaden with mass loaded vinyl want to shed some light?
