I have a 04 g35 roughly 220,000 miles, runs beautifully up until 2 days ago. My car turned off out of no where. All lights went off, tried to turn it on and the vdc and slip lights turned on. Drove fine over the weekend, first incident was on Friday. This morning same thing happened to my wife. Car shut of 2 times. Service engine light is on. Help? Any advice is much appreciated, thank you!

Same thing happened to myself, Car just seemed to go in limp mode... Changed the crankshaft sensor, back to normal again for me.

I found out it's my camshaft sensors I got the code P0340. Is it recommended to purchase dealer part?

I would, you get what you paid for. I bought aftermarket valve covers and literally right after they were installed they started leaking, replaced with dealer parts - good to go.

Wow! that`s good mileage. Also, imo, a good solution. 350,000 kms :-)
