G35 Vs Wrx

This might of aready been discussed but can a G35 6mt beat a regular wrx. This guy I know says he can take me, I know those hit 0-60 in a faster time but what about the long run?

I had a 02 rex. In factory from those cars only do their *maybe* 5.5sec on cold days
(28-34F) with a clutch drop from ~5000rpm. Street start, they'll only do mid
6sec's on a given normal warm day and low-mid 7's on a hot summer day
at best. The intercooler tends to heatsoak very easily and the car does not have
much consistency as I found out. Mine was pretty quick given the mods it had.

The inconsistency is one biggest reason why I sold it and just got a powerful NA V6.

I raced a modded one at the strip (when I was n/a) and of course he took me from the line and won by 0.1 secs, but my trap speed was about 7mph faster, so I just needed more track.

Race from a roll and you should be ok.

just remember that it's a car that costs 2/3 to 1/2 what a G costs before you bad mouth it too badly. be cautious when it comes to judging them... a wrx can make some mean power and still look stock, even under the hood. about $2500 in mods will easily push the car close to 300hp, and 350hp is not too much more expensive than that.

Do it on a closed private road or at the track.

WRX's are the ****! I once was a Proud WRX owner of fully modified beast. very fun to drive! But the G35 is Better!!! Bone stock the wrx sucked. After 3rd gear the G would tear it a whole new a@! hole. Now lets say both cars were heavily modified, the G with turbo to match the competitor (WRX). Sorry G owners but the WRX will dominate in the 1\4 mile because we all know why. But on a rolling 60mph start to lets say 140mph the G will easily come out the winner.
