No, not chrome. More like a polished metal. Installing ISO thermal spacer today! Pretty excited, also ordered a Stillen z tube and K&N drop in filter. Also have to give a shout out to Conceptzperformance.com for hooking me up with 2 day priority shipping. I was thinking about getting a pop charger, but from the research I've done, it seams to give more heatsoak than anything. More for sound I guess. So I'll stick with the stock intake and just replace the filter.

Good Finnex, you wouldn't believe how much whp is sucked up by heat soak! I'm not a fan of buying parts on line (ebay) either but every once in a while we do find parts it's hard to pass up. I bought '06 projectors new in the box for less than $500 a few year ago...before they doubled in price...Gary

Installed the spacer last night, so far I noticed a slight difference in throttle response. But from what I understand, it takes about 100 miles for the computer to relearn and that's when you feel the real difference. Z tube and H&K drop in filter should be arriving today and thats a quick install. A bunch of kids from my school are getting together tomorrow to race for $. I might have to go toast some ricers and steal their $ haha.

Got the spacer, z tube, and K&N filter installed and this thing both sounds and runs like a beast.

Imo the G35 badge needs to go but other than that its a really clean G! How many miles are on it? It looks like it has hardly any wear.

edit; take some steel wool and polish to those exhaust tips!

looks clean man. honestly would have left the grill and tail lights alone but that's just me. as for the lip, I would look on ebay too. lips are a huge wear and tear item (specially if youre dropped) and I see no point in spending 300+ on something that's going to be eating street constantly. I bought a $300+ full CF lip for one of my other cars and it literally exploded into pieces (3 big pieces) when I hit a mini cooler on the highway. after that, 150$ on ebay non CF, but it was polyurethane.

that's one tip for you. im not a bodyshop guy, but don't by fiberglass. always try to get CF(if youre a baller), polyurethane(best one), or FRP plastic(cheapest but stronger than FG).

First of all, I LOVE everything about this. You've said things like "I've done research" and "I don't care what you think" and actually backed that stuff up. BIG POINTS in my book. Not the typical noob.

The gaila lip is my favorite for the coupe. I've bought 3 on ebay for about 80bux. Because I'm SLAMMED, they explode. But 80bux here and there ain't a big deal.

That's a test fit of my 3rd lip. I'm going to install quick release pins for my bumper in a week or so, and at that point, I may or may not put it back on. Even though these pics are SLIGHTLY misleading, they're only mm off of my true height.

Also, those overlays are going to look a bit different on your tailiights because yours don't have the recess that the 06+ has. But, either way, man, keep up the good work. And remember, there's a LOT of info on these cars. They've been around for over a decade

Happy modding

Ordered some new back tires

http://m.tirerack.com/tires/TireDeta...ar=Base+Model#

I think its time for some new back tires. I knew mine were getting worn, but it seams like over a day or two it went from worn down to falling apart. Hopefully they get here tomorrow and I get them installed Thursday.

Picture is somehow upside down.
