Coupe 17" tire size oem
Have a 2004 with these rims 17" I believe front is 17x7 and rear is 17x8 correct me if I'm wrong but just want to see if this is a good setup 225 50 27 front and 245 45 17 rear or should info both front and rear 45's?
I've had the car for about 19 months & the tires were on it when I purchased it. I noticed it about a month after buying the car. OCD kicked in and I freaked out a bit wanting to immediately change them, but read on the forum that a lot of people have ran the smaller series 50/45, 40/35 etc without issues.
My back is still higher than my front and I'm running stock suspension/height.
The difference with running a smaller ratio in the rear should help get the RPM's up quicker. Not sure what the gain is, some mathematician would have to give that answer.
