Upstream o2 sensor confusion!
Upstream o2 sensor confusion!
Okay so I have a p1283 code. And went ahead and bought both new upstream o2's from rock auto. At 216,000, they're probably due anyway. Lol but I purchased the OEM ones. It's NTK 24401. As per what rock auto says. I suppose I'm too trusting as they are a 4 pin harness that is identical to my downstreams. But they are indeed the 24401's I ordered. I got back on the site and found these,

Which look identical to my upstreams harness. But I really wanted to use the OEM ones I have. My question is, can I swap the pins in the harnesses and make this work? They are both 4 wire, just different connectors. Also, if so, which wires go where? Bc they are different colors. Fml...
Anyway, this is what I have.

*Correction* existing o2 is a 5 wire. NTK part number 24320 is the correct needed part. Rock auto has them but designates that they are for AWD models, wtf?! But there is the answer for anybody who runs into this.
