coupe fr fenders: how far can they pulled?

Yes, I did search a bit, and only found one person say they thought 10-15mm max. Figured I should try and seek out more than one opinion.

So, if I were to combine the minimal amount extra that can be gained by rolling the fronts and the max that can be pulled (safely, by an experienced professional, with little risk of deformation/chipped paint), will I be able to add a total of 30mm outer clearance per side? 25mm? 20mm?

Trying to use Volk RE30 19x10 +22 on front, and according to offset calc that would extend wheel 36mm outward from stock Ray's. Planning on running 255's, so should be fairly square to wheel.

TIA

There is no safe number, but 10-15mm is common. You always run a risk of damaging your paint. Everyone's risk is different depending on age of the paint, if you live in a snow/salt area like north east, bad roads, ect.

Some people here have done crazy pulls with no damage, some have ruined their paint simply trying to roll the inner lip. But to answer your main question, to get 20-25mm you will definitely need flares.

I ran a 225 on a 10 with a 19x10-1 wheel up front and stock camber for months
No pull only a roll
A 225 on a 10 will be stretching the tire -NOT square to the wheel. You're a good bit less aggressive than I was. Assuming you still want to stretch the 225 onto the 10, you will not need a pull similar to the amount you're referring to...if at all.
Also good choice in wheels
Love RE30s

A 225 on a 10 looks like this. A decent stretch nothing too wild imo

Thanks for the info and pics. I'm kinda stuck on using 255/35's up front- good for VDC given my back size, and also, 255 is the min size michelin says can be put on a 10", and none of the local michelin dealers (least not discount ones I've been checking with) are willing to disobey michelin's guidelines and mount anything narrower (otherwise might've tried some 245's). Just gonna bite the bullet, order tires, do fender work. Bought wheels on ebay, buyer will take them back if they don't fit since he misrepresented offset in auction. Or worse case scenario, don't imagine they'd be too hard to sell. Seems 350Z's have more room up front, bet they'd sell over at a Z forum in a heartbeat. Less than 100mi on them, over $4k in forged, near lightest volk, for around $2k...

After mounting bare wheel, jacking up control arm (to get wheel close to fender, emulating ride height), and mounting straight edge on outer wheel up to height of where sidewall would sit, it appears very close. 10-15mm extra clearance might just work, might not. Just gonna have to try n see. Oh, what adventures- but all this just to save $2k from buying new set of wheels? sometimes I think I'm a little crazy...

Why would you need to pull your fender at those specs? Even slammed at 0 camber, fender work would be minimal. The stock rays do not sit flush so you're not ADDING the difference. You're more making up for it.

As to "safe stretch", as others have said, every car is different. But, I wouldn't imagine this to be a problem by any stretch of the imagination
