Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
My 2007 G35 coupe shut off while I was driving today. I had just shifted into
2nd gear and the car started to sputter-then every light on my dash board lit*
up and then she just shut off. I can turn her on, but she won't stay running.*
I checked all the fluids etc. I am at a loss!
Any ideas?! Please send them my way!!

 

The possibilities are many, you posted this thread on the 27th, have you resolved the problem? Did you take it to a shop and have them look at the problem? Problems like the one you have described have to be troubleshot to determine a path to take, the problem has to be isolated to a fuel starvation or electrical/ignition issue. This is not easily done and if you are not a mechanic, it is even harder to troubleshoot. The basic question has to be asked, any codes?

Based on your description, because you say the car will start but wont remain running, I want to side with a fuel starvation problem. It could be as simple as an empty fuel tank, clogged fuel filter, faulty fuel pump, faulty fuel pressure regulating system or even bad fuel (water in the fuel). An unlikely but possible thought is a clogged air intake filter or blocked exhaust system. In any case, don't forget to let us know what you find. Bring closure to the thread so that everyone can benefit from knowing what happened.
