It is a personal call. You didnt pay for defective rotors, entirely within you right to request unblemished. Also, as stated, the chip impacts nothing.
It is indicative of a casting flaw, not post processing. Which could mean bad cast and be prone to cracking, or it could mean nothing more than a small cosmetic flaw. Who knows.

It' your call, I don't think it will affect performance, BUT, damnit you paid for new well cast/machined rotors. If you haven't removed your old ones yet, I'd replace it.

In my situation, would replacing bearing fix the issue or would it require hub as well? He made it sound like if I drove my car any further I'm risking my wheels flying out while driving.
