I've searched and searched and have not found an answer to this. The paint code on my 04 G35 coupe under the hood says KY0. It has a few spots on the paint need some touch up so I drove to the local paint store to have a small tube of touch up paint mixed. I gave him the paint code (KY0) and he said it's pulling up Chrome Silver which is for 350z's I believe? It's not showing a brilliant silver metallic which is what I thought the paint on my car was. I'm just curious if it's the same thing or why it wouldn't be pulling up? Thanks for the help!

Chrome Silver is the correct name for it? Weird. I figured it would have been Brilliant Silver Metallic. Sorry, it was just kind of confusing to me and I didn't want to mess up and get the wrong color.

 

Sometimes Infiniti vehicles have different names for their paint vs what Nissan calls it but paint codes will be the same.

One time I ordered K23 (liquid platinum metallic) and the dealership ordered Brilliant silver K23. Apparently Nissan cars call it BS instead of LP
