g35 sluggish acceleration need help! please

Can anyone help I have a 2003 g35 sedan it runs great when I first start it or when it's cold but if it's hot outside or when the car warms up it runs like crap..another thing is the exhaust changes sounds when it's not running right it's louder..the only codes is p0327 knock sensor..I had taken it to a auto repair shop that's the code that came up but they said that wouldn't cause my problem it was the throttle body but I got a new one installed and still the same problem..any suggestions? ?

Why haven't you replaced your knock sensor if you have the code? Who the hell would tell you that "isn't" the problem when yer throwing a code? You can't diagnose a problem like that until everything is at least "seemingly" in order. Replace the knock sensor, clear the code, then if the problem is still there, we'll have more to work with.

Also, hell yeah a knock sensor would make it run like crap, especially if you aren't using the exact octane that they used to engineer this motor. Your auto shop needs to close their doors.

Yea I'm gonna go ahead and get it fixed I hope it works..the place I took it to told me it wouldn't fix my problem I even called infiniti today and the gut there said he's been there 17yrs and that wasn't my problem too.idk I did some, research and saw that it could be the knock sensor harness so I'm gonna replace both and see what happens

Is that what they used to engineer the motor? The knock sensor is there to adjust timing automatically based on octane. Just replace the sensor.

You can't do it yourself? Just give it a shot, man. There are instructional DIYs on here. You can get a sensor on amazon for cheap and change it yourself for cost of parts. Give 'er a go.
