Just bought a 2006 G35 coupe
Rimzz....lolololololol
OP - if you're going to spend 600 for mods, assuming there aren't other issues to attend to first, grab yourself a plenum spacer and some adjustable sway bars. These parts are well worth the money and are a seriously noticeable difference in the driving of the car.

Whats up guys ? I just purchased a black 2006 Gee with 90k miles on it. Very excited to start modding the car.
Just have a couple of questions :
1 ) My car doesn't have the bose sound system unfortunately, and i was wondering if the G has an ipod connection/AUX or any way I can plug in my iphone to play music.
2) I'm saving up for a set of rims for less than $600 , Gold silver or black im not sure yet. any ideas ?
3) What do you guys think about ebay/amazon $300 exhaust system ? will it add any power and how does it sound ?

2. up to you. Just be careful with sizes.
3. it will add power combined with CAI and ECU update. Exhaust itself will only have a sound...
and no an exhaust is not just an exhaust If you care about sound quality. I'm sure most exhaust give you around the same performance tho.

Not just sound quality also materials, weld quality and drone. Cheap exhausts will give you headaches from exhaust leaks and drone. Then you pass out from the carbon monoxide and drive off a bridge and die. So, really its a life and death situation.
No need for his feelings to get hurt he asked what his best options are members are just being honest.
Keep the stock exhaust and just save money and buy something worthwhile.
Start with basic mods spacer filter etc and work from there
It took me two years before I started to build my G and I'm glad I took time to get quality parts makes a huge difference
