2005 G35 Coupe - Window Problem - Weird

I recently changed the window regulator and window motor on the driver side of my coupe.

The weird issue is:

1. sometimes the window will go down automatically and it won't come back up.
2. when I press the window up/down -- no response. nothing happens.
3. my passenger side works perfectly (nothing wrong with it) -- but it doesn't response to my driver side window switch. I will press it to go down, but it wouldn't go back up, and when I go to the passenger side switch, it wouldn't respond either.

Not sure what's the problem - but it's really annoying. Any suggestions?

Thanks!
-Leo

the window weather stripping along the top of the door is folding in triggering the window closure safety mechanism preventing the window from rolling up. If you hold the black strip away from window opening when you press the up lever, the window will proceed to roll all the way up.

Did you do the motor reset?

Make sure the window itself is properly adjusted.

This happens to me as well. When I park mine in the garage I like to crack the windows slightly to get some air flowing in there. When I turn the car on to the ignition (not start) to roll the windows up, the driver's side window doesn't even move. So what I normally have to do is actually put it to start and then roll it up. Auto-roll up does no justice also so I must use one click of the window button to roll the window all the way up manually. The passenger side is perfectly fine though. Odd.
