My plan is to actually drive the motherf$cker. I think I've done like a combined total of about 3K miles in the past 3 or 4 years all together since I pretty much always ride my R1 or SV1000 when it's nice out or take my Tacoma when it's not, and I'm afraid to take the G into Boston based on the amount of damage my truck has taken from parking there on weekends over the years and other people using it to play bumper cars while I'm parked. The G basically gets used for the occasional road trip with the GF or a weekend rip down to one of the Casinos in Connecticut.

 

I'm just getting started with the G. Basic stuff first. Aero package, tint, wheel spacers and tires will be the first upgrades. Been reading up and learning a lot. Going to grab the nav video interface and hook up a backup camera. I don't really see using the other video input fir a dvd or game system so I was thinking of doing a front facing camera to help with parking. The front is too low for many parking curbs and I've got a coupe small scratches on the front bumper. I figured a camera up there would be just as useful as a backup cam. Also going to be doing a little audio upgrading. Add the aux interface while I have the dash apart and replace the stock amp as well as speakers and maybe add a 10" sub. (If I can find a decent box for the trunk), I know those 1080s are hard to come by. That will pretty much bring it up to where I want it for now.

 

The new pioneer dd head units alow front and rear cameras. Im always scraping up front when parking, it never feels any less painful .
