Glad you got a second opinion! My hunch is the first place would charge you OEM prices, then order from rockauto anyway.

 

Yah def. after I called and said I was towing it away he was like yah we can probably cut the prices down a little I was like yah.... c yah later

 

pics of car? btw do u live with ur parents. i always thought insurance covers household members automatically

 

I'm 33, have 7 points on my record and pay $150 a month lol. I don't have any in the last 3 years but my insurance company goes back 6-7 years apparently.




Mine has never had any issues that weren't caused by me (lowering) its been extremely reliable and I beat the hell out of this car. I also cannot keep my foot off the pedal.

 

Next time, take it easy on the turns man. Better safe than sorry. I only go fast on straights, and usually drive slow on right/left turns (90degrees).

Just an update on my car... I brought it to my buddy who did everything for 2,400 cash compared to 6,700 I am very grateful I was able to get this fixed and my car looks better than ever.

I didn't take pictures of the original accident I was just so mad and upset I didn't even take pictures and got it towed the next morning I will take pictures of how the car looks now!


Also, with insurance if your not in New York your policy is different prob. a lot cheaper, so if you not from here your insurance stories are irrelevant especially if your over 25 insurance goes down after that.

 

Not too bad of a deal, definitely saved a lot in labor.
