Hey everyone, I've done a few searches but they have been very little info and contradicting.

Looking into buying a used stillen true dual cat back exhaust system for my g35 coupe. I drive a 5at and as far as breather mods, has a stillen hi-flow intake, ztube, and 5/16 MD plenum spacer. Just wondering how bad is the drone?

 

Depends how loud you play your music...but since it's an automatic it will have more drone

 

Well wondering how loud it is without music on relative to stock exhaust. Like little to none, medium, or medium to high drone?

 

Stillen's true dual cat-back exhaust should have zero drone with it's crossover and high quality mufflers! That was my first aftermarket exhaust which was for the 350Z and required an extension to fit correctly. This system only becomes loud if you include HFCs which is where most of the restriction exists! Try doing Google and look for a used system...Gary

 

i had the stillen true duel also. drone is not bad at all. but i got rid of it casue it was too loud with stillen headers and HFC.

I just noticed, the two middle canisters which I assume are resonators, why are they so long compared to the other pictures i find on google on the exhaust system.

 

The other ones you might be looking at could be for the G37 or 07-08 G35s.

 

It came off a g35 coupe though
