Good host too, I was getting around 330kb/s.
I've actually done so far as to "borrow" my gf's brother's PS2 just to play GT4 (yes, I don't even own a PS2, but I am buying GT4 today)
Thanks! Haha ya I was up late/early this morning playing the game and putting together the videos, came out alright considering I was half conscious, great way to test my Server's bandwith Originally Posted by madchef

So we pretty much hit up every other store via cell phone and it got worse and worse.. Some wouldnt get it until a few days later, and others a week or more (Target). Out of all places, Fry's is the only one who has them in stock, and lots too! Fresh on the shelves just sitting there under no special area with the rest of the PS2 games. "Almost like its been there for months collecting dust" At my local Fry's they had the GT4 Wheel and Seat package.. might pick one up.
I looked under Nissan at first to find the G, but yep its under American.. However the Sedan isnt. Go figure??
How much was the seat and wheel combo at Frys? I have the JPN version so far my G has over 400hp NA since you can't put a turbo on it. The fastest car I have is the Option 350z by JUN it has close to 1,000hp. The quickest way to make money and get cars is to do the special conditions hall. Also don't forget to change your oil for more HP before you drive it!!! So far I have about 30 cars in my garage including on made by NIKE it's pretty funny looking. Originally Posted by pharrari

I first went to the local mall and hit up "EB Games", The guy @ EB was pretty sketch about it all and said that he has no idea when they will be getting them in because of a "Rain Delay" in shipping.

I just picked it up from Bestbuy yesterday. Very impressed with it so far, will be even more impressed when I have enough money to buy some cool cars like the G35. I ordered it for in-store pickup the same day, didn't have any trouble getting it. I did the exact same thing when Halo 2 came out. I don't know why so many people preorder these games haha.

You can transfer $100k from GT3 so my first car was a tricked out G35c. Now its pretty quick N/A with 400hp. I've been so far unstoppable

I made the mistake of grabbing a used Lexus SC300 and stripping it down (3rd lvl weight reduction), getting a full race tranny and suspension, CF drive shaft, sport intake/muffler, port/polish, fully custom LSD and some various sport tires.
And even only at 305Hp, NA, I'm in bad need of some super-sticky race tires... ...with only $5K left in my pocket.
I have to wait for my G until I get more money. I'll try the money cheat tonight and start having fun.
Anyone want to buy a bitchin' used SC300 for a steal? Forum members can have it for only $80K.

your not allowed to transfer more than once? im against it anyway, cheats ruin the game! its all about earning your way through. if you want nice modded cars from the start then play arcade mode.

*pffft* Simulation Mode has always been the only way to play the GT series, as far as I'm concerned. And while I've been a gamer for a long time now (25 years), in these recent years I find myself only playing them for entertainment. I don't need another challenge in my life, especially a self-impossed one from a game. Challenging entertainment? Absolutely love it! But the entertainment part comes first, and that means enjoying the game without having to devote more time than I can afford on accumulating enough money to buy and mod the cars I want.
The 100million credit cheat for GT3 is what allowed me to fully appreciate and enjoy the game. I just can't afford to devote so much time to games any more. In college and prior to that, sure, but entertainment seems to come last these days.
It's a matter of perspective, I suppose. To each his own.
