I guess since all we are talking about is looks.....I would say open.
But if you like how it looks when open, then how about a roof spoiler?

Full open, all the way down to -5C. (that's about 22F for you folks south of the 49th) Tilted if it's raining. Closed only above 62 mph (100 km/h for us Canucks). I can't imagine living without a sunroof in any future car. For me, it's not the looks, it's the feeling.

always keep my sunroof tilted cause the sun its too bright, or even when it rains cause no water ever gets thru, but at night time I like to have it open

besides, who cares what it looks like? I use the sunroof (shaded, unshaded, tilted or open) for my pleasure, not the pleasure of the dude in the car next to me or the broad standing on the corner.

would it be bad to have it tilted when its raining? I mean, doesnt water get in?

Mostly tilted because I like to hear that crisp exhaust sound. Also I figure most are looking at me from behind.

Water does not come into the cabin when you're driving in the rain and you have the sunroof tilted open. If it's raining, you can still fully open your sunroof as long as you are constantly driving about 25mph or so. If it is hard rain, you can still have your sunroof fully open if you're driving on the highway. I know it may be a bit crazy for some of you Californians to imagine sunroof open on a rainy day, but as a wise man once said: pimpin' ain't easy.

I always figured water wouldn't come in. But on my last car, I had the moonroof, up and I hit the brakes hard and then got showered with water on the roof. Since then, I do not open it in the rain or in the mornings if there is condensation on the car.
