So there's probably 1000 threads about this but none too clear tbh for my slow mind .

My stock flex is messed up and now my car sounds like a pos Honda especially with my berks HFC ...still going strong after 12k miles btw .

Was gonna do xyz but nah double the cost $350? Id consider $200 if I can find it but doesn't look like any are out there that cheap . Plenty of people have the Megan racing y pipe but there's 2 versions which one is best and won't continue to make make car sound like a Pos? Buying tonight so it'd be nice to hear some quick input or if anyone knows where to get a xyz or Megan y pipe for a good price ( not 5yrs old price lol ) vendors here aren't really selling them from my glance .

Or should I really just go with the HR y pipe almost the same cost as a Megan I believe ?

The Megan Y-Pipe also has an HR version. I put that on my 06 Coupe when my stock y-pipe started leaking as well. I have complete stock setup and it sounds pretty decent on my car.

 

I'd just beware of Megan's quality. I've known a lot of their exhaust components to fail prematurely. If you buy their y-pipe, just be sure to watch those flex joints and make sure to file a warranty claim within their 1 year warranty period.

 

Just have an exhaust shop weld in new flex pieces
I did that on my Ypipe and I think it was around $150 total
