Wil and others...help w/ clear-bra!
Wil and others...help w/ clear-bra!
Here's my problem...I live in Oklahoma (yes we have G35's here) and clear-bras aren't a popular thing around here, so finding an installer hasn't been the easiest task.
Anyway, I'm a little leary about the only guy I've talked to so far.
1) He answered his phone "hello" -- which he later admitted he works out of his home, not a shop. Which might not be a bad thing, as he might be the best and can get away with it because he's "that" good, so I wont judge him too fast. (Best detailer I ever had did it out of his home garage, so -- I'm okay with this.)
2) When asked how many cars hes done? His reply,"nine total." eek. (Fine everyone has to start somewhere, and that doesn't prove hes doesn't know what hes doing)
3) The guy is painfully honest, told me I might be disappointed at first because the bra is like window tint, and sometimes might show bubbles or wrinkles, but after exposed to heat and sun it cures, and assured me it all goes away, but was quick to say if it didn't bring it back and they'd redo it.
4) Quote was $575 for full install.
Nice guy, just didn't do much to build my confidence.
So anyway... having a tough time deciding if I want to gamble on this guy.
Big question to you guys is, is it normal to have bubbles after the install, and more importantly do they go away after it cures?
I'd rather commute somewhere reasonably close, and have it done by someone with atleast 100 cars under his belt, can anyone refer me to a good one in upper Texas or anywhere around Oklahoma?
Thanks in advance
