What the hell were you doing wasting your time on a Civic to begin with?

Never underestimate those civics unless it's a spanish dude driving it. Most of the time those things are swapped.

Nice 1/4 mile runs, Mike! Damn, that civic sure looks like a rocket! The Supra wasn't even close. Goodluck when you get your new G! I'm sure you'll have some fun with it!

've never been impressed by straight line performance alone. I need the full package. My friend had a NA Camaro that ran low 11s. Yeah, he would crush me in the 1/4 mile but take him to an autocross and he would get his a$$ handed to him. Roads rarely run straight for very long...

I do give mike props for keeping the Civics looking stock. I'd much rather have a stock Civic running in the 10s than one of these riceboy's cars with $3000 in cosmetic crap on it with a fart can and K&N as their only prformance mods.

I respect the guys who can drive civics. I love clean civics especially the ones with the most suspension mods. Never a fan in import racing, but they can be made to handle like go-karts.

Do not underestimate them, sure its another civic but I'm sure they're better drivers than most people here.

Oh, I don't own a civic.. I'm an FR fan.

Thanks guys. I just sold the civic this month. I built it as my personal car/shop car. Here is the link so you can see what I did to it:

My G35 comes in April, I ordered my wheels from Rays Wheels and they came in today! Can't wait for the car now!

here are my new wheels:

I used to do the same thing to 'Vettes when I had my '97 Eclipse GSX.

Some people just don't seem to realize that you can't count on a car to only have stock power once it leaves the lot. Hot rodding isn't limited to V8s. But I can sympathize with you, at least a little bit. I noticed the dejected look on the faces of enough 'Vette and other assorted V8 sports/GT car drivers that I'm sure I know how you felt. lol

It hurts because you were so confident that you could smoke him. His victory is all the sweeter for the same reason. At least you'll think twice before you run that Ford Fiesta that just revved on you. It might be Jay Leno. lol

Thats a great post right there. I feel this way about all the little s.hits in my town who pull up next to me and rev rev rev.....problem is, i get such a kick outta reving back at them and giving a good run (even if i loose)...

BEAT ME
- turbo civics are fast
- non-stock SRT4's are very fast
- Vettes bother

I BEAT
- VW R32...on the highway from about 65 on up...
- 3000gt VR4
- Acura CL TypeS

The first thing I look for when I pull up to a modded Civic is if it has 5 bolts on the lugs.... Then you know it's all GSR goodies and you can basically forget about it.
