Exclamation Hang with me guys. Headlight question

Kinda old 44y/o school street racer here. Got my son an 04 coupe and it needs some headlights like nobody's business. I've been looking and reading and need some good advice. Would really like a plug and play headlight. What do you guys recommend. Don't mind the led etc just don't know how to go about it all. I've seen some
You can buy but need this and that Etc Help a old schooler . Lol.

just go out an buy a set of OEM 06 coupe headlights. they have the projectors in them, and look better IMO. just swap over the ballast when you go to install them. its really easy. you can prob find a used set of the for sale section.

Not sure how that's possible unless they're physically damaged/cracked. You sand off the yellow crap and apply a new uv coat.

Only real acceptable option if you ask forum members tho is to get OEM. Adversely, you could buy some cheap crappy eBay lights and just switch the outter lens.

scraggle he was looking for a plug and play sort of option.

but OP like scraggle said just go and buy a shitty ebay headlight. then bake the ebay ones on the lowest setting your oven will go for about 5 to 10 min until the glue holding the outer lens gets soft and you can pry it apart. then just do the same for the ones on your car and swap. then heat the glue again once more and press the lens and housing together.

Well I would but they have other issues. The side strip of lights are acting all crazy too. These may be some older style mods somebody put in. Either way they look and act like a bag of d$&@s lol

OE '06 coupe projector headlights best upgrade for first gen coupes!

Sorry Plmcrzy, you're not getting great advice! Replacing those fugly '04 coupe headlights is a great idea, but you don't need a brand new set and pay $1200+ a set. Watch our Marketplace for members selling them, average price is $400 - $500. Make sure they're in great condition and do not have broken tabs which indicates they were stolen! (quickly removed) They are a plug and play install making a major difference while driving at night aka night/day!

One had a small crack which I fixed a couple years ago so I know they aren't perfect. Parted out the car since insurance totaled it out a few months ago due to hail
