Nice! I want to flush the Coolant anyways, I haven't put many miles on the car but it's been 4 years. Suffice to say... I won't have green Coolant in it anymore.

I picked up something local.

I'm currently looking at the FSM, but anyone know where the block drains are for the Coolant? Don't want to replace just a little bit of the Coolant, would like to replace it all.

Thanks - urban!

I'm not sure where they are and they need to be resealed with sealant as well I think. If you have compressed air you can probably stick it in one of the hoses and blow it out of the system. That's how I removed most of the coolant on a Toyota I was working on. The engine drain peacock was rusted and stripped all to hell.

I've used Valvoline Zerex for Asian vehicles and it seems to be a great product.

That's the Coolant the local auto store had for a great price.

I'll do more research, as the fans don't come until Thursday.

Is that some kind of fancy aftermarket fan set? I just bought a factory style replacement. 11 years is too old for my coupe!

lol fancy? Not even, shipped from RockAuto with tax, shipping and 5% discount it came out to $89. It's just an OEM style replacement part. Supposed to fit like a glove, I bought a TYC radiator for the GTO and it's spot on.

Hey how did this work out for you? My radiator fans also stopped and I stumbled upon this thread. The TYC radiator assembly is still $85 on RockAuto...Might get that one. Thanks

Also how difficult was the install process?

I've had mine for a year now and they work as well as OEM.

Mine fit like OEM and literally took me 45 minutes to change it out. We've put about 7K miles on the car since the swap and have had no issues. Highly recommended inexpensive replacement.

Sheittttt.

Yeah glad I did it myself haha.

Also similar to the cam position sensor the car "broke down" because of a cooling fan this time :eyeroll: while on a date. Had an excuse to stay out later that night and drive home when it was dark to stay cool .

Yep that's the one. You'll need nothing else it's a simple plug and play part. IIRC it's 2 screws at the top of the assembly, unclip 3 harnesses and lift straight up and out. You might need to remove the upper radiator hose, I don't remember removing it, but it's a simple job. There are videos on YouTube as well to help if you want to watch them.

I didn't have to remove my upper dad hose. Just twisted fans and slid diagonally out and new ones back in. Good luck OP.
