Also I picked it up for 2500 with ksport coilovers and varrstoen 19" wheels.
Crap parts and rod knock for that price???? I guess P.T. Barnum was right. You do realize you could have spent just a little more and gotten a low 100K mile car in 1000% better shape that needed nothing right? My guess is you're young, impulsive and jumped on this car because you fell for it.

My advice? Try to sell the car for what you paid (GL with that though) and start looking all over again. Long term you'll be super happy that you did unless you're some sort of sick and twisted masochist. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I don't know here you live, but here in Wisconsin (Milwaukee area) you can find a manual g35 with a rev up engine under 6k with it being stock and high miles.....
Also ksport slide control coilovers are a grand and varrstoen wheels are 1200 for the set plus the tires. Basically paid for the parts and got the car for free.

It's a lot of work to swap it in but with the right amount of money and time it can work.

I think I'm just going to get the non rev engine from buddy of fine for 400$ then get the non rev wiring harness and ecu, and swap them out and call it a day.

Function over form. What's the point of all those aftermarket parts if the engine is shot and not doing what it's supposed to do? I'd rather have a well maintained stock with high miles under 6k than a 2.5k car with rod knock.

Goodluck with all that headache of swapping and finding an engine in excellent condition.
