MaxSpeedingRods Coilovers on a g35 2006 - Experimenting

So I was recently looking into lowering my car and I happen to find these Maxspeedingrods coils on Craigslist so i told myslef hey what the heck ill offer $200 to try my luck out out of $250 (go for a bit on ebay) of what the seller was asking. Seller agrees so I think too myself "hmmm thats too easy, shoulda low balled harder lol" planned to meet up following days and ended up meeting the seller at a del taco l. Seler is female which interests me. Nothing against women but i feel as if this can be better than i expexted. To my surprise she never intended or actually installed the coils from what she said and also my observation. Everything was packaged but one ripped bagg with a front shock exposed. It was mint. No paint chips or foreign grease/stains. So i bought them. Later that week i ended up installing them with the help of rental tools. Figured a diy wouldnt hurt since either way an alignment is needed afterwards if i go lower than necessary. For the record my car is mint. Got it off an olauction lot with 46k on it. Salvage due to a small collision replaced fender and thats it. No frame damae or any mechanical flaws. Anyways, installation was straight forward thanks to youtube and google. I didnt hit any deformation or modifications. What i did find interesting is the front shocks have separate metal brace that hold both cables such as the brake line. Kinda weird. Height isn't that low but i feel as if ill need to raise it a bit as i still dont have any camber or toe kits to dump this baby. Either way it's comfortable ride. Not bouncy but must be the placebo if not they are too new. I'll wear them in an update more on these but as of now i like them very much. Especially since they are gold! Freaking gold!

TLDR

You lost me at the name of the coils and in life I find more often than not you get what you pay for. But your car, your money so enjoy them........

After doing a bit of scouting on the internet, it seems these things have QC issues; so it is luck of the draw whether your going to get a set that lasts.

Otherwise they sound ok, albeit a bit harsh.
