RE-SHELL/ENGINE SWAP Questions
Hi guys,
Completed a re-shell from my 2003 G35 to an 2004 G35 shell.
Swapped the 03 engine/gearbox, loom/ECU into the 04 shell.
However when attempting to start the car for the first time since swap, it cranks healthy but no start (checked fuel pressure etc all good)
Using the 04 Keys of course - would there be an immobilizer issue or conflict?
Will my 03 ECU that I swapped into the 04 car need to be programmed to accept the 04 keys? (swapped the immo chip from the 03 keys into the 04 and still same issue)
All parts are OEM nothing special - could it be a BCM issue or something?
Thanks in advance!!

Why would you use a key from an 04 if everything else (Engine, ECU, etc.) is from an 03?
Telcoman
Telcoman
Using 04 keys only due to not changing the ignition barrel
Ended up changing the BCM (Body Control Module) over from 03 car and started straight up (04 Keys had the 03 Key Chip)
Guess its a good heads up for anything doing something similar.
