03 g35 manual 165k miles getting 10-12mpg City driving

My commute to work is 8 miles all city stop and go. I'm getting 10-13mpg.

Has new oil, new filters.

I'm a pretty good manual driver.

But I get 10-12mpg.

It's starting to get me angry! I only drive once a week since it's my second cars.

I put 91gas only

What do you recommend?

Make sure tire inflation is correct
Make the car as light as possible, don't carry any extra weight when you can
Baby the throttle with no rapid acceleration
Take a different route with minimal stop and go portions when possible
Replace spark plugs, air filter and make sure all fluids are changed out routinely

BUT, that's about what you're going to get with the kind of driving you do especially with your high miles.......

8 miles stop and go and getting 12mpg? I drive spiritedly and get 12 , so you're doing pretty well if you ask me

just looked at service records and i think the differential fluid and transmission fluid hasnt been done (althought cluth was changed 60k miles ago. im sure they would have had to change fluid then right?)
