It could be a number of things.
First of all is the Service Engine Soon light on in the dash? If so your car has thrown a DTC (diagnostic trouble code) which is trying to tell you something specific is having trouble. Get the code read if you can drive to the nearest auto parts store.
It could also be a battery starting to die on you, do you know how old the battery is? What year is your car, how many miles are on it and how long have you owned it?
Other possible causes are bad alternator, failing camshaft and/or crankshaft position sensors, failing fuel pump, blocked fuel filter etc.
In other words there are way too many possible causes for us to diagnose over the internet. Find someone local to you that knows about cars and ask if they will stop by to help you figure it out. If all else fails you have it towed to a trusted local mechanic for the cure.

If the battery was starting to die the motor wouldn't turn. Over would it ? I mean the motor turning over but it won't stay going it's very mind boggling seeing how I stated it up and moved it outta the driveway and it worked fine then all of a.sudden nothing thanks for the advise think all half to have towed to a garage so they can put a scanner on it thanks for the info
