Ok so I've seen this question asked numerous times and
Wasn't able to find a straight answer. I was trying to see if 350z seats fit or if they'll require heavy modification.
Well I bought the seats anyway.
So the driver seat actually bolted right up with no problems at all...



Now on to the passenger side... The two front bolts also lined right up and so did the rear bolt close to the door. but the last bolt by the center console was slightly off requiring the bracket to be reamed out a little bit.


The seats were aftermarket and came out of an 06 350z and bolted into my 03.

Your title is a bit misleading.

Tbh I'm not even sure I got them for super cheap man. I figured I would make a quick little thread just showing that 350z seats do fit in a coupe with very little modification

 

That very little modification is hardly anything! It could even be simply because it's aftermarket.

Either way base 350z seats in a G35 is a great weigh to shed some weight and rid yourself of some possible electrical problems in the future.

 

Are brand did you get for the seat brackets?
